On the boat, enjoying a beautiful day and views of Lake Geneva.

Notes:

- We arrived into Geneva on a very beautiful, sunny and warm day at around 6:30 pm. We did some sightseeing in the "old town" area, which is situated on a hill. Undoubtedly, that was the most attractive part of the city, with narrow, cobbled lanes and streets, fountain filled squares, and galleries, shops and cafes.

-We also got the chance to stroll down on the impressively wide main shopping streets ("Rue de Rive" is one), with luxury boutiques... Unlucky for us, but lucky for our wallet, the shops were closed at this time of the day, so we only did some window shopping. :-)

- We stayed in Hotel Nash Ville in Geneva and enjoyed our stay. It is recommended!

- Geneva is located on the western side of Lake Geneva. The lake is so impressively big, you can't help but think it as an inner sea.

- The next day of our arrival we took a paddle steamer boat leisure cruise to Lausanne. Lausanne is another city on the shores of Lake Geneva. (60km east of Geneva). The cruise took bit more than 3,5 hours. It was again, a very pleasant warm day, so it made the the trip more enjoyable.

- The language of Geneva and Lausanne is French.
