We survived the sveltering heat of Rome... Although it was end of August, the temperature didn't drop below 40 degrees centigrade. So, if you want to visit and have the flexibility, don't go to Rome in summer time... Choose spring or autumn... We know all roads lead to Rome, but resist the temptation in summer! :-)
